Covershot — Terms of Use

The service

Covershot generates AI images of a person from reference photos you provide and visual direction you set. Results are synthetic: they can contain artifacts, inaccuracies, and details that differ from your reference photos or direction. No output quality is guaranteed.

Age

Covershot is for adults (17+/18+ per the App Store rating). You may not use it if you are a minor, and characters depicting minors are prohibited under all circumstances.

Your content and your responsibility

• Only add photos of yourself, or of adults who have given you explicit permission to use their likeness. Each character requires an attestation to this effect; it is binding.
• You are responsible for the content you create and how you use it. Do not use Covershot to produce unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or harmful material, including non-consensual intimate imagery (prohibited by law, including the TAKE IT DOWN Act and state likeness laws).
• Uploaded photos and generated images pass automated moderation, and reported content is reviewed by a human. Content that breaks these rules may be blocked or removed, and repeated or serious violations may end your access.

Credits and payments

• Credits are consumed per generated image (1 credit = 1 image), including images you choose not to keep. Failed or moderation-blocked images are refunded automatically.
• Credits are purchased as consumable packs or granted monthly by the auto-renewing membership, through Apple. Prices are shown in the App Store; the membership renews until cancelled in your App Store settings.
• Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and expire when your account is deleted. Payment refunds are handled by Apple under their policies. If you request a refund from Apple, you consent to us providing Apple with information relevant to the request — such as whether the purchased credits were used and the age and status of your account — to help Apple decide it.

Privacy

Processing of your photos (including sharing with fal.ai / ByteDance Seedream for generation) is described in the Privacy Policy and gated on your explicit in-app consent.

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account (and all data) at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; remaining credits on terminated accounts for serious violations are not refunded except where required by law.

Disclaimer and liability

Covershot is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

Swedish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
