Castor (“the app”) is developed by SensorEvolve. This privacy policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.

What We Collect

Nothing. Castor does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

What the App Accesses Locally

Your Media Files

Castor accesses video files and subtitle files that you explicitly select. These files never leave your device except to be streamed over your local WiFi network to a TV you choose.

Local Network

Castor uses your local WiFi network to:

  • Discover smart TVs (DLNA/UPnP via SSDP multicast)
  • Stream media from your iPhone to your TV (HTTP on port 8080)
  • Communicate with Chromecast and AirPlay devices

All streaming happens entirely on your local network. No data is sent to external servers.

iCloud Drive

If you store media files in iCloud, Castor downloads them on demand to stream them. This is handled entirely by iOS — Castor does not interact with iCloud directly.

Subscriptions

Castor offers an auto-renewable subscription. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store. SensorEvolve does not receive or store your payment information, Apple ID, or any billing details.

Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID account at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Third-Party SDKs

Neither SDK transmits data to external servers during normal use.

Children’s Privacy

Castor does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
